St Paul Church of Columbus is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to support our kitchen and dining room. This hands-on role helps prepare welcoming spaces, serve meals, and care for the kitchen before and after service.
Part-time · Approximately 20 hours per week
Generally Monday–Thursday, with other days as needed.
Compensation: Hourly pay; rate determined based on experience.
Reports to: Food Service Manager
What you’ll do
- Prepare the dining room by sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and vacuuming; arrange chairs and tables and set tables.
- Assist with food preparation and set up and maintain the serving line.
- Help diners as needed during meal service.
- Bus and wipe tables after meals and break down the dining room for Sunday services.
- Clean the kitchen and utensils, load the dishwasher, and provide general assistance to the Food Service Manager.
Experience and requirements
Commercial kitchen experience is desired but not required. The role involves moderate physical demands, including stacking and moving chairs. Employment is subject to pre-employment and drug screening.
