That mission shapes more than Sunday worship. It guides how we teach children, form friendships, care for people, serve our neighbors, and invite every generation to take a next step with Jesus Christ.
Independent—and historically Wesleyan
St Paul is not part of the Wesleyan denomination. We are an independent church whose theology and spiritual life have been shaped by the historic Wesleyan tradition: a strong confidence in God’s grace, a serious engagement with Scripture, and a belief that faith should grow into love of God and neighbor.

Grace
God meets us first
We believe God’s grace is already at work, inviting every person into forgiveness, healing, and a life of growing faith.
Scripture
Faith seeks understanding
We read Scripture thoughtfully and prayerfully, trusting it to shape our worship, decisions, relationships, and daily lives.
Community
We grow together
Faith is personal, but it is not solitary. Worship, learning, friendship, and honest conversation help people mature in Christ.
Service
Love moves outward
Growing faith becomes active love—caring for people within the church and serving our neighbors in Columbus and beyond.
