About the Retreat
Join us for one of the most anticipated trips of the year—our SPY Winter Ski Retreat! We’ll spend four days and three nights on Flat Top Mountain in Ghent, WV, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and growing together as a community.
We’ll travel by charter bus, stay right on the mountain, and enjoy unlimited access to the slopes just steps from our ski houses—no shuttles, no waiting, just full days of fun in the snow. Whether you’re carving down black diamonds or cruising the tubing hills, this retreat has something for everyone.
But this trip is about more than snow—it’s about what God wants to do in us.
This year, we’re going deeper into the character of God. Who is God? Who is Yahweh? And what does it mean to know Him? Through Scripture, we’ll explore God’s attributes—His holiness, faithfulness, goodness, love, sovereignty, and more—and discover what they reveal about who He is and how we can live in response to Him.
We’ll spend time on the slopes, build friendships, and make memories while setting aside space to know the God we worship more deeply. Because the more we understand who God is, the more we learn what it means to trust Him, follow Him, and reflect His character in our everyday lives.
Bundle up, bring your Bible, and get ready for an unforgettable start to the new year!
