Family Mission Trip
July 26 – July 30

Join Us on a Family / Multi-Generational Mission Trip!
Join us this summer, July 26–30, for a multi-generational mission trip serving those in need in the Appalachian Mountains.
Partnering with the Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville, North Carolina, St. Paul children, parents, grandparents, and beyond will have a unique opportunity to serve side by side. This is a chance to step away from the busy and experience faith, family, and service together in a meaningful way.
We’ll support the area’s Safe and Healthy Home Repair Ministry by building handicap-accessible ramps, adding porch railings, painting, and completing general home repairs. No specific skills are required—guidance is provided every step of the way.
Additional opportunities include working in the community food garden or serving through the firewood outreach ministry. We’ll also take part in an Appalachian Culture Night and participate in poverty awareness experiences.
And it’s not all work. Each day will include time for rest and renewal. Enjoy the retreat setting—spend time at the lake, walk the prayer labyrinth, kayak or canoe, play games, try disc golf, or simply relax in the rocking chairs on the lodge porch.
Trip Details:
• 4 nights
• $450 per person (includes lodging, meals, and materials)
• $150 deposit due by May 29 to secure your spot
• Final payment due by July 1
Registration Note:
If registering as a family, please include only members of your immediate household. Extended family members are welcome and should register separately.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:27)
