ABOUT ST PAUL PRESCHOOL
A caring place to learn, play, and grow in faith
Since 1981, St Paul Preschool has partnered with families to nurture children in a warm Christian community where curiosity is encouraged, relationships are valued, and every child is known and loved.
Our mission
We build character and curiosity while helping children discover God’s love and learn how to live it each day.
Growing the whole child
Children grow at different rates. Our age-appropriate classrooms support spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development without rushing the process.
FAITH & CHARACTER
Known and loved
Through prayer, Bible stories, chapel, and caring relationships, children learn that they are deeply loved by God and invited to show love to others.
RELATIONSHIPS & INDEPENDENCE
Growing with others
Play, routines, and classroom experiences help children practice sharing, listening, problem-solving, self-expression, and age-appropriate independence.
LANGUAGE & THINKING
Curious minds at work
Stories, conversation, puzzles, imaginative play, and hands-on discovery build language, attention, reasoning, and early school-readiness skills.
MOVEMENT & CREATIVITY
Active, joyful learning
Art, music, sensory experiences, manipulatives, and outdoor play strengthen fine and gross motor skills while giving imagination room to flourish.
How children learn here
We believe play is a child’s work. Teachers create a thoughtful balance of child-led exploration and teacher-guided experiences so learning feels natural, engaging, and meaningful.
Hands-on curriculum
Our child-centered curriculum weaves together creative arts, dramatic play, early math, language, science, sensory exploration, music, movement, and outdoor activity.
Themes and real-world materials invite children to ask questions, make connections, and build emerging skills at a developmentally appropriate pace.
Caring teachers
Qualified teachers and caregivers provide a safe, welcoming environment responsive to each child and family. They encourage children without pressure and help them develop confidence and a positive sense of self.
Classroom routines and age-appropriate challenges grow with children from infancy through Transitional Kindergarten.
More ways children discover
Special experiences enrich the classroom and help children connect faith, creativity, movement, and wonder.
CHAPEL & HIS-STORY
Faith made meaningful
Children experience age-appropriate Bible stories, prayer, and Christian traditions through chapel and interactive storytelling designed for young learners.
MUSIC & MOVEMENT
Learning through rhythm
Singing, dancing, listening, and playing instruments build coordination, attention, language, and creativity while drawing on a child’s natural love of music.
STEAM
Wonder in action
Science, technology, engineering, art, and math experiences invite children to wonder, experiment, create, and discover through hands-on play.
PLAY & EXPLORATION
Room to imagine
Books, art, pretend play, puzzles, sensory materials, playground time, and classroom centers let children explore ideas and practice new skills in ways that feel joyful and real.
