DESCRIPTION:Jump to a service opportunity Backpack BuddiesChristy Odom Home ProjectCollege ConnectionFellowship Hall Setup TeamGrace HouseMagnolia ManorMilitary EncouragementOperation Christmas Child Prep TeamPAWS HumaneSafeHouse MinistriesSack Lunch Prep TeamSara Spano Clothing BankThe Fort ChurchTruth Springs AcademyWynnton Neighborhood NetworkRegister Now\n\n\n\nBe the Body. Share Christ’s love through service.\n\n\n\n\nAll mission work will take place on Sunday\, October 25\, 2026. \n\n\n\nUnless otherwise noted or communicated\, all mission activities will begin immediately following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. \n\n\n\nA sack lunch will be provided by the church and will be available for pickup in the Fellowship Hall for all missionaries serving that day. Most teams will gather to eat their sack lunches together before their work begins\, either in the Fellowship Hall or at their work site. \n\n\n\nSpecific team instructions regarding where your group should gather\, any additional items you might need to bring with you (such as work gloves)\, and any other site-specific details will be communicated to you by individual team captains before St. Paul for All Sunday. \n\n\n\n\nService Opportunities\n\n\n\nBackpack Buddies\n\n\n\n“Food for Friday\, Hope through Monday”Volunteer capacity: Unlimited \n\n\n\nCome learn about a new mission opportunity St. Paul hopes to become involved with beginning in January 2027. \n\n\n\nBackpack Buddies provides backpacks filled with nutritious food and snacks for children who may have little or nothing to eat over the weekend. For many of these children\, the free breakfast and lunch they receive at school may be the most dependable meals they have all week. These weekend backpacks help bridge the gap from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. \n\n\n\nSigning up for this team is an opportunity to hear how the ministry works\, learn more about the need in our community\, and discover how St. Paul hopes to become involved. You may even decide this is a ministry you would like to be part of in the months ahead. \n\n\n\nCome lunch\, learn\, and love—all at the same time! \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nChristy Odom Home Project\n\n\n\n“Hands & Hearts for Christy”Volunteer capacity: 8 volunteers \n\n\n\nPut your hands to work for a dear friend of our St. Paul family by helping with household and outdoor projects. \n\n\n\nThis will be a hands-on service team helping with a variety of manageable projects around Christy’s home\, including light painting\, staining repaired areas of her deck\, light yard work and cleanup\, spreading pine straw\, and some light housekeeping inside. \n\n\n\nYou do not need to be a professional handyman or painter—just willing to work\, serve\, and help accomplish several small projects that will make a HUGE difference for a very special friend of our church. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nCollege Connection\n\n\n\n“Away from Home\, Close at Heart”Volunteer capacity: Unlimited \n\n\n\nRemember when you were away at school and how special it felt to receive an unexpected note or little gift from home? \n\n\n\nThese days\, receiving anything through “snail mail” is becoming such a rarity that a handwritten note can feel like a gift all by itself. \n\n\n\nJoin this team and help us remind our St. Paul college students that even though they may be away from home\, they are still very much a part of their church family. Volunteers will write short\, personal notes of encouragement to approximately 100 college-age members\, letting them know that someone at St. Paul is thinking about them\, praying for them\, and cheering them on from home. \n\n\n\nWe may even tuck a small surprise into the cards to add an extra little bit of encouragement. \n\n\n\nYou do not have to be a gifted writer. A few sincere sentences can be enough to remind a young person that the church they grew up in has not forgotten them. \n\n\n\nNever underestimate how much a little piece of home arriving in the mail can mean. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nFellowship Hall Setup Team\n\n\n\n“Flip the Hall\, Fuel the Mission”Volunteer capacity: 15–20 volunteers \n\n\n\nBefore our St. Paul for All missionaries can head out to serve\, they need to eat lunch. That means someone has to help get the Fellowship Hall set up with tables and chairs so they have a place to pick up their lunch and a place to eat it! \n\n\n\nThis team will meet in the Fellowship Hall at approximately 10:00 a.m.\, immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service\, to help transform the room from its worship setup into a welcoming space for our teams to gather and eat lunch\, while also setting up an area for one of our note-writing service groups to meet as well. \n\n\n\nIn the span of about 30–40 minutes\, this team will work together to move and arrange tables and chairs\, reset the room\, and make sure everything is ready for the couple hundred people who will soon be gathering there before heading out to serve. \n\n\n\nThis may be a short assignment\, but it will be an invaluable part of helping St. Paul for All Day run smoothly and successfully. \n\n\n\nAnd because this team finishes early\, signing up here does not prevent you from signing up for another service opportunity later that day. \n\n\n\nCome help us flip the hall\, fuel the mission\, and set the stage for a great day of service! \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nGrace House\n\n\n\n“Comfort & Grace”Volunteer capacity: 8–10 volunteers \n\n\n\n(a division of Safe House Ministries) \n\n\n\nHelp us bring a little extra comfort and encouragement to the women of Grace House. \n\n\n\nThis team will prepare special comfort bundles for women who are working toward recovery and a new beginning. Bundles will include items such as soft\, fluffy towels and linens\, flowers\, a gift bag of lotions\, lip balm\, pens and a journal\, a few sweet treats\, and a handwritten encouraging note. \n\n\n\nWhat a beautiful\, yet simple way to remind each woman that she is seen\, valued\, and being prayed for. The completed bundles will be delivered to Grace House that day. \n\n\n\nThis is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers who enjoy putting together thoughtful gifts and creating something that will brighten someone else’s day. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nMagnolia Manor\n\n\n\n“Blooms & Blessings”Volunteer capacity: 15–20 adults\, plus children of all ages \n\n\n\nHelp us create 40 small flower arrangements to brighten the rooms\, and the days\, of residents at Magnolia Manor. \n\n\n\nThese will be simple\, cheerful arrangements\, and absolutely no flower-arranging or craft experience is necessary. A member of St. Paul’s Altar Guild will help guide the team\, so anyone can participate\, and all materials will be provided. \n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity for families and multiple generations to serve together. Once the arrangements are completed\, a specially made gift tag will be attached\, and they will be delivered to Magnolia Manor that Sunday afternoon. \n\n\n\nCome arrange a few blooms and help share a lot of joy! \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nMilitary Encouragement\n\n\n\n“Mail Call with Meaning”Volunteer capacity: Unlimited \n\n\n\nHelp encourage the men and women who serve our country—and the families who serve alongside them. \n\n\n\nUsing specially designed St. Paul note cards\, volunteers will write short\, personal letters of encouragement to service members and military families. Your note might offer a word of thanks\, encouragement\, prayer\, or simply a reminder that someone back home is thinking about them. \n\n\n\nYou do not have to be a gifted writer. A few heartfelt sentences can mean more than you realize. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nOperation Christmas Child Prep Team\n\n\n\n“Prepping the Joy!”Volunteer capacity: 15–20 volunteers \n\n\n\nHelp us prepare for St. Paul’s Operation Christmas Child shoebox-packing event in November! \n\n\n\nThis team will sort\, organize\, and prepare the supplies already purchased for the upcoming shoebox-packing event. By counting\, grouping\, and arranging everything in advance\, team members will play an invaluable role in helping our November packing day run more smoothly and efficiently. \n\n\n\nThis is a wonderful hands-on opportunity for volunteers who enjoy organizing\, sorting\, and working together toward a larger mission. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nPAWS Humane\n\n\n\n“Paws for a Cause”Volunteer capacity: 10–15 volunteers \n\n\n\nSpend part of your St. Paul for All afternoon serving our friends—both two-legged and four-legged—at PAWS Humane. \n\n\n\nPossible activities may include walking dogs\, giving some of the dogs extra attention and socialization\, helping with light cleaning or window cleaning\, outdoor or yard work\, and other projects that would be helpful to the PAWS staff that afternoon. \n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity for animal lovers who would enjoy serving in a fun\, active environment while helping an organization that does so much for animals in our community. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nSafeHouse Ministries\n\n\n\n“Prepped with a Purpose”Volunteer capacity: 15–18 volunteers \n\n\n\nFreedom House\, the men’s housing division of SafeHouse Ministries\, is working to get its property freshened up for the holidays! As part of those preparations\, they are getting the walls ready for a fresh coat of paint. \n\n\n\nThis team will help with light scraping and sanding\, then roll on primer to get everything ready for a new coat of paint. All prep and painting is interior work. \n\n\n\nYou don’t have to be a perfect painter\, just someone willing to lend a hand and help pave the way for the fresh new look Freedom House hopes to have this holiday season! \n\n\n\nAll materials will be provided. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nSack Lunch Prep Team\n\n\n\n“Lunches with Love”Volunteer capacity: 15 volunteers \n\n\n\nHere’s a chance to serve the people who will be heading out to serve others! \n\n\n\nUnlike most of our St. Paul for All teams\, this group will meet in the church kitchen at 10:00 a.m.\, immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service. \n\n\n\nWe’ll form a fun and efficient assembly line to prepare\, pack\, and organize sack lunches so they’re ready for all of our St. Paul for All missionaries to pick up before heading out to their afternoon service projects. \n\n\n\nNo special skills are required\, just willing hands and a servant’s heart. \n\n\n\nCome help us fill a few tummies\, encourage a few hearts\, and send our missionaries out well fed and ready to share God’s love! \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nSara Spano Clothing Bank\n\n\n\n“Closets of Care”Volunteer capacity: 15 volunteers \n\n\n\nHelp turn our St. Paul for All School Clothing Bank Drive into something ready to be placed directly into the hands of local children and families. \n\n\n\nThis team will sort and organize the new and gently used clothing collected by St. Paul\, so that everything is neatly folded\, sorted\, and ready to be delivered to the Sara Spano Clothing Bank. \n\n\n\nThe donations will be delivered the following Tuesday\, but this SP4A Sunday team will do the important work of getting everything ready to go. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nThe Fort Church\n\n\n\nFortify The Fort!\n\n\n\nVolunteer capacity: 15–20 volunteers \n\n\n\nGrab your work gloves and help us spruce up the outdoor spaces at The Fort Church in East Highland! \n\n\n\nThis team will focus on cleaning up and improving the church’s playground area\, the grounds immediately surrounding the playground\, and an adjacent lot that needs some attention. The work will consist primarily of light clearing\, trimming\, raking\, weeding\, cleanup\, and hauling away debris. \n\n\n\nThis is not heavy land-clearing work. Volunteers may use items such as trimmers\, clippers\, rakes\, gloves\, and contractor bags to help knock out the project together. \n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working outdoors and likes being able to see a big difference after just a few hours of work. \n\n\n\nFaithful Lives\, Lasting Legacy\n\n\n\nVolunteer capacity: 10 volunteers \n\n\n\nCemetery Care & Preservation at Mount Zion Church \n\n\n\nAnother meaningful opportunity to serve under the umbrella of Fortify the Fort is our “Faithful Lives\, Lasting Legacy” mission team. \n\n\n\nThis team will help care for a small church cemetery located off Double Churches Road. While many of the gravesites are lovingly maintained by family members\, there are a few areas that could use some extra attention and light grounds maintenance. \n\n\n\nThis is not an overwhelming project! No heavy lifting or overly strenuous work is involved. With a small group of willing volunteers\, some work gloves\, basic yard tools\, and a weed eater or two\, the areas needing attention should be tackled with ease. \n\n\n\nWhat a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon outdoors\, preserving a piece of our community’s history and honoring the saints who have gone before us! As you serve on this team in their memory\, we invite you to make this simple act of love and remembrance a tribute to someone special in your own life as well. \n\n\n\n“Therefore\, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses…” — Hebrews 12:1 \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nTruth Springs Academy\n\n\n\n“Build a Bike\, Bring a Smile”Volunteer capacity: 12 volunteers \n\n\n\nDo you remember when you got your first bicycle and how happy seeing that bike made you feel? Imagine the joy on a child’s face when they discover a brand-new bicycle waiting for them at Christmas\, all because of you! \n\n\n\nThis team will assemble bicycles that will be donated to the Truth Springs Academy Christmas Shop. The Christmas Shop gives parents an opportunity to choose Christmas gifts for their children at little or no cost. \n\n\n\nThese are not complicated bicycles to put together\, so you don’t have to be a professional bicycle mechanic! All you need is a willing heart—and maybe a screwdriver too! Volunteers will work together to assemble the bikes and help turn a box of parts into a beautiful Christmas morning surprise a child will always remember. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\nWynnton Neighborhood Network\n\n\n\n“Pack with Purpose”Volunteer capacity: 21–27 volunteers total \n\n\n\nLooking for a simple\, hands-on way to make a real difference for neighbors right here in our own community? This is it. \n\n\n\nThere will be two ways to serve with Wynnton Neighborhood Network: \n\n\n\nHousehold & Personal-Care Packing Team — 15–20 volunteers\n\n\n\nWork side by side in a fun assembly-line setting to pack practical household and personal-care essentials for families served by Wynnton Neighborhood Network. Items such as laundry products\, toilet paper\, soap\, and other everyday necessities may seem simple\, but when a family is struggling\, these basics can be a true blessing. \n\n\n\nPet Care Packing Team — 6–7 volunteers\n\n\n\nHelp prepare pet-food and pet-care packages for WNN clients who may be struggling to provide for the pets they love. For many people\, a pet is family\, companionship\, and comfort—and helping meet those needs is another beautiful way to care for our neighbors. \n\n\n\nBoth teams offer an easy\, meaningful way to serve together\, share a few laughs\, and turn ordinary supplies into something much more: a practical reminder that our neighbors are seen\, loved\, and not alone. \n\n\n\n↑ Back to top \n\n\n\n\nRegister for St Paul for All\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Sunday\, October 25\, 2026\nPlease submit a separate registration for each family member\, including children and nursery participants. We’ll spend four days and three nights on Flat Top Mountain in Ghent\, WV\, skiing\, snowboarding\, tubing\, and growing together as a community. \n\n\n\nWe’ll travel by charter bus\, stay right on the mountain\, and enjoy unlimited access to the slopes just steps from our ski houses—no shuttles\, no waiting\, just full days of fun in the snow. Whether you’re carving down black diamonds or cruising the tubing hills\, this retreat has something for everyone. \n\n\n\nBut this trip is about more than snow—it’s about what God wants to do in us. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we’re going deeper into the character of God. Who is God? Who is Yahweh? And what does it mean to know Him? Through Scripture\, we’ll explore God’s attributes—His holiness\, faithfulness\, goodness\, love\, sovereignty\, and more—and discover what they reveal about who He is and how we can live in response to Him. \n\n\n\nWe’ll spend time on the slopes\, build friendships\, and make memories while setting aside space to know the God we worship more deeply. Because the more we understand who God is\, the more we learn what it means to trust Him\, follow Him\, and reflect His character in our everyday lives. \n\n\n\nBundle up\, bring your Bible\, and get ready for an unforgettable start to the new year! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for the Winter Retreat\n\n\n\n \n Participant's Name(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Participant's Cell PhoneGrade(Required)Select grade7th Grade8th Grade9th Grade10th Grade11th Grade12th GradeGender(Required)Select genderMaleFemaleDoes your birthday land during the retreat?(Required)\n \n \n Yes\n \n \n \n No\n Address(Required) \n \n \n Street Address\n \n \n City\n \n \n State\n AlabamaAlaskaAmerican SamoaArizonaArkansasCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDelawareDistrict of ColumbiaFloridaGeorgiaGuamHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaNorthern Mariana IslandsOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaPuerto RicoRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahU.S. Virgin IslandsVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyomingArmed Forces AmericasArmed Forces EuropeArmed Forces Pacific\n \n ZIP Code\n \n \n \n Church Home (If not St. Paul)Parent's Name Completing Form(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Parent's Cell Number(Required)Parent's E-Mail Address(Required)\n \n Emergency Contact/Other Parent(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Emergency Contact/Other Parent Cell Number(Required)Choose Your "Winter" Activity.(Required)Select winter activitySki $600Snowboard $600Tuber $500None $500Participant's T-Shirt Size(Required)Select T-shirt sizeAdult SmallAdult MediumAdult LargeAdult X LargeAdult XX Large\n Submit
